AI Consulting

A fixed-fee assessment of whether AI makes sense for your business yet, and where. It ends in the AI Blueprint, a plan for what to adopt, what to skip and what to prepare first.

We reply within one business day.

Sounds familiar?

  • Your board, your peers or the vendors you already pay are pushing you to adopt AI.
  • You've paid for AI tools or pilots and can't say what changed.
  • You're about to invest in AI and want to be sure the company is ready.
  • Your team already uses ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini on their own, with company data and no plan behind it.
  • You can name a dozen places AI could help and can't tell which one to start with.

If any of these sounds familiar, we tell you whether and where AI pays off, and what to do next.

What you get

The AI Blueprint in three parts, then a month of us on call.

Blueprint Report

The reference your team returns to for months: the operating map, every finding and the roadmap for adopting AI where it pays off.

Executive Findings Presentation

We walk your leadership through the findings, so the people deciding what comes next have the full picture.

Project Briefs

One for each top opportunity on the roadmap. Each is scoped and ready to build from, with no need to repeat discovery.

30 days of support

After delivery, we stay reachable while you decide what moves first.

What actually happens

The same core team runs the engagement from the first interview to the final presentation.

Typically three to eight weeks, depending on scope.

  1. Diagnose.

We interview leaders as well as the people doing the work, then review the systems, documents and data they rely on. That evidence becomes a map of how the business runs, and of the data and systems AI would have to work with.

  2. Analyze.

We look for the work where AI pays off and check what it would need: the data, the way the work runs today and the people who would use it. The plan then says which uses to pursue, which to defer and which to rule out.

  3. Prioritize.

We rank each opportunity by impact, effort, risk and readiness, and review the priorities with the people who own the work. That review produces an ordered plan, with the top opportunities vetted and ready to implement.

  4. Present.

We present the findings, the priorities and the roadmap to your leadership. What happens next is your decision: implement with us, with your own team or with another partner.

A few engagements at a time.

Start dates go in the order conversations begin, so the sooner you reach out, the earlier the date you can hold.

How pricing works

No two companies run the same way, so the fee depends on how much there is to diagnose:

  1. 01How many workflows we map
  2. 02How many people we interview
  3. 03How many locations or teams are involved
  4. 04How tangled the data and systems are

Whatever the scope, the fee is fixed: quoted after a short call and agreed before we start.

What happens if it does not work

Hiring a diagnosis means paying before the results exist. We think that risk belongs on both sides of the table, so every engagement comes with two commitments in writing:

01The implementation credit
If, within 30 days of the final presentation, you hire us to start implementing the roadmap, the full fee counts toward that work.
02The strategic value guarantee
If you don't have clarity and direction by the end of the engagement, we keep working with your team for up to 30 more days. After that, either we scope the work that follows, with your implementation credit still valid for it, or we agree a fair refund for the value not delivered.

You can receive the implementation credit or a refund, not both.

Common questions

How much does AI consulting cost?

It depends on scope: how many workflows and people we look at, and how tangled the data and systems are. It's a fixed fee, quoted after a short call and agreed before we start, not an open-ended consulting retainer.

Do we have to hire you to implement?

No. The plan works with us, with your team, or with someone else. However, if, within 30 days of the final presentation, you hire us to start implementing the roadmap, the full fee counts toward that work.

Can't we skip the diagnosis? We know what we need.

You can: that's what AI Development is for, when there's already a clear use case to build. AI consulting is for when you want to know whether and where AI pays off across the business, and what to do about it. Either way, we confirm the scope before anything gets built.

Are you an AI consultancy?

We're an operations and technology firm for growing companies, and this is our AI consulting: it starts from how your business runs, not from the tools, and ends in a plan you can act on. When the plan calls for a build, AI Development builds it.

Do you do AI consulting for small businesses?

Yes. Our AI consulting is built for growing companies, not enterprises. Its scope follows how many workflows and how much data there is to look at, not the size of the company, so the fee fits the operation.

What if we're not sure AI makes sense for us?

That's the question AI consulting answers. If AI doesn't pay off for you yet, you get that in writing, with what would have to be ready first. If what you're feeling is drag across the whole business rather than an AI question, start with operations consulting: it looks at everything, and AI is one of the tools it can recommend.

Can't we just use ChatGPT or Copilot?

For a lot of everyday work, yes, and the plan may say exactly that. The licenses alone don't tell you where AI pays off, what data it should touch or who checks what it gets wrong. The assessment answers that before you pay for more.

What does AI consulting include?

An AI readiness assessment built on the work itself, not a questionnaire: interviews with the people who do the work and a review of their data, systems and workflows. It ends in the AI Blueprint, presented to your leadership: where AI pays off, where it doesn't yet, and the use cases worth building.

Is this AI training?

No. It decides where AI belongs in your business and what has to be ready first. The plan names what your team will need to learn for each use case.

How much of our team's time does this take?

About two hours per interviewed person. Leadership adds a kickoff, a mid-point check and the final presentation.

Will you just tell us to use AI everywhere?

No. If AI isn't the right call somewhere, we say so; that's what you're paying for. And expect foundation work at the top of the roadmap: that's what lowers the risk of deploying AI.

Tell us what's slowing you down.

We reply within one business day, and if we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
